Lori Ann Purnell was raised in the rural town of Wyalusing, Pennsylvania. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford, where this English/Writing major managed the student union, supervised the work study students and was editor-in-chief of the literary magazine. Following college, she met and married her husband, Linwood Purnell II, and they moved to the Tidewater area of Virginia to begin their careers.
Lori Ann began her career in insurance by handling disability claims for borrowers of banks and finance companies. Later, she used that same experience to help protect her clients from unexpected pitfalls by providing both life/health benefits protection and advising her clients on property/casualty insurance. Lori Ann and her family just returned to Pennsylvania and are excited to make Allentown their home. Her husband is a Biology teacher and football coach, and her two middle school age sons, Jacob and Joshua, are active in football, weight training, basketball, wrestling, lacrosse and baseball.
Lori Ann has worked with a variety of businesses, though has an expertise with non-profit, social service insurance and has worked with over 200 non-profit agencies. In Virginia, she was active on many non-profit boards of directors and looks forward to getting involved here in the Lehigh Valley.
Lori Ann is excited to part of the firm and the Lehigh Valley and looks forward to helping the people and businesses of our community.
